Bookings and Use of Membership Rules
1.1. Freedom Vacation Network (FVN) is an exclusive members only, holiday, travel and discount club that may only be used by members and their direct family.
1.2. FVN has appointed Timelinx Reservations Centres to carry out the fulfilment of Members’ holiday requirements. When a request is made to any Timelinx Reservation Centre for accommodation, that member’s details will be entered onto the database to be matched with the closest available accommodation to the Member’s choice. The Timelinx Reservation Centre will hold all available options for 72 hours from notification to the Member, subject to the accommodation unit’s own rules regarding reservation requests, to allow the Member’s confirmation and payment to be received at their offices.
1.3. All accommodation requests are subject to availability and will be accepted in writing on the official reservation forms supplied with Membership, by e-mail to uk.reservations@timelinx.com (UK), eu.reservations@timelinx.com (rest of Europe), or by calling the designated direct reservations telephone number for each member’s area, which is shown in the Membership materials. Members with Internet access may book their travel arrangements directly on-line on the Member’s area of www.freedomvacationnetwork.com.
1.4. Membership benefits include discounted accommodation in quality self-catering apartments, discounted cruises, discounted villas, discounted hotels, discounted package holiday, discounted leisure activities, discounted golfing, and discounted car hire, net cost flights, discounted shopping, discounted insurance and a dedicated high quality service. Members may also earn cash rewards through the referral of new members with the Business Programme.
1.5. The Annual Membership Fee is currently £125.00 . The Annual Membership Fee is included for the first year. Failure to pay the Annual Membership Fee will result in suspension of Membership rights and restricted access to the Member’s web site until full payment has been received.
1.6. The Annual Membership Fee is GUARANTEED to reduce by one percent per year, from the first year of membership, every year.
1.7. The terms and conditions of third-party suppliers (i.e. leisure activity suppliers) may change from that shown in the original Membership material from time to time. These changes will always be communicated to Members as the product portfolio is updated. FVN continually strives to improve the offer of products and services to Members.
1.8. Medical and holiday insurance is obligatory and can be purchased through a Timelinx Reservation Centre or through each Member’s preferred insurance provider. Proof of insurance will be required prior to travel.
1.9. A full description of the requested accommodation and resort amenities will be given to Members before the booking is made. In the unlikely event a confirmed resort is unable to accommodate the Member, the relevant Timelinx Reservation Centre reserves the right to change the Member’s booking to a similar resort of equal standard, within the selected area.
1.10. Timelinx Reservation Centres shall inform the Member about the appropriate passports/visas required where reasonably practicable or offer reasonable assistance in obtaining such information. The Member shall ensure possession and validity of such documentation.
1.11. The rental charge for the accommodation booked is not always refundable upon cancellation. The Member’s holiday insurance should be adequate to cover this contingency, however, any refund obtained from the accommodation supplier will be returned to that Member.
